New Version of PubMed Central Now Available
Announced on May 18, the National Library of Medicine's National Center for Biotechnology Information has released a new version of PubMed Central. The latest version has focused on improving navigation and search, including new improvements to a modern interface with enhanced search results, including highlighted text snippets to help you preview an abstract while scanning results list, and updated web elements for easier navigation. Open Access in the Corona Times
In a recent guest blog post, 'Open Access in Corona Times - The Rumors,' published in the latest issue of Against the Grain, Sven Fund and Philipp Hess discuss how libraries and publishers can and should cooperate in a time of continued demands for easier access in the face of shrinking budgets.
Digital Ethics in Higher Education
In a recent article published by Educause Review, President and CEO of Educause, John O'Brien, discusses the ethical challenges that emerge with some of the most recent emergence technologies, especially those that rely upon artificial intelligence and/or data analytics and the evolution of digital ethics, which O'Brien defines as "doing the right thing at the intersection of technology innovation and accepted social values."

New Library Database Focused on Open Access
As shared earlier by Sue Collins and Ryan Splenda, The LibGuides team consulted with David Scherer and Katie Behrman, and have now listed the CORE Open Access Search Engine to the Database A-Z List. CORE is the world's largest aggregator of open access content with millions of full texts, deriving from thousands of repositories (including KiltHub) journals and other web resources, while all our content is available to everyone for free. CORE's search engine is supported by faceted searching, and brings back to the users the full text of open access outputs.
Fixes to Dimensions for Mendeley Web Importer
For those who use both Dimensions and the Mendeley Web Importer, Dimensions has released a new version of their system that has rectified the login issues presented by Ryan Splenda. You should now be able to login to Dimensions and keep your importer turned on in your browser. Please let me know if you have any further issues with Dimensions.
