Where'd You Go

In our new blog, "Back in the Stacks," Cataloging Specialist Jan Hardy reviews notable works in our collection. In the first post, she reviews Maria Semple’s Where’d You Go, Bernadette, which recently filmed in various locations around Pittsburgh, including the CMU campus. Also reviewed in this installment is Douglas A. Blackmon’s Slavery By Another Name: the Re-enslavement of Black Americans from the Civil War to World War II, which Hardy discovered while browsing for recommended reading related to another bestseller, Michael Eric Dyson’s Tears We Cannot Stop. Read the reviews.
