AccessEngineering

University Libraries has acquired AccessEngineering from well-known publisher, McGraw-Hill.

AccessEngineering is an award-winning engineering reference tool for professionals, academics, and students that provides seamless access to the world's best-known, most-used collection of authoritative, regularly updated engineering reference information.  This gives the Carnegie Mellon University community desktop and mobile device access to a fantastic collection of respected reference works including current editions of Perry's Chemical Engineers' Handbook, Marks' Standard Handbook for Mechanical Engineers and Roark's Formulas for Stress & Strain.

The Schaum's Outline series of books is a noted part of AccessEngineering that will facilitate quick review of previously learned material.  AccessEngineering includes many useful bells and whistles typical of the modern digital portal such as faculty made videos, calculators, interactive tables and charts, as well as personalization tools allowing users to organize crucial project information as they work.

Another special component of AccessEngineering is DataVis. Use DataVis to visually explore materials and their properties. Find and compare material property data, then save your interactive visualizations and share with others.

Your Liaison Librarian would be glad to introduce you to this new resource.
