We are happy to announce that visitors are once again permitted in CMU Libraries buildings on the Pittsburgh campus following the university’s shift to a transitional COVID-19 risk posture. Visitors can access library databases and electronic resources using computers in the library, and can access CMU’s guest wireless network by creating a temporary access code. In order to borrow physical materials, visitors must purchase a Special Borrower card from the Hunt Library main circulation desk. Please note that reciprocal borrowing with the University of Pittsburgh remains suspended. Current library hours are posted on our website.

Requirements for vaccinations, facial coverings, and social distancing for visitors are all outlined on CMU’s Visitor Protocol website. Visitors seeking information about the Qatar campus should consult the CMU-Q COVID-19 Information page.
