The Libraries do not provide temporary wifi access.

Visitors from campuses that are part of eduroam can use the eduroam network.

Library printing is part of the Andrew Printing system.  Use the Andrew B&W queue for black and white printing. Use Hunt Color for color printing (4th floor Hunt).

Visitors must purchase a Plaid Cash card from the Hub in Warner Hall.

To access electronic resources such as databases, eJournals, eBooks, and streaming content, log in using your Andrew ID & password when prompted.

Your library ID is the 9 digit number under your student number on your CMU ID.
Your PIN is the last 4 digits of that 9 digit number.

Yes. You should always have your CMU ID with you. You'll need to show it to check out materials and enter Hunt Library between 3 am and 8 am. Only people with a valid CMU ID can use the library between 3 am and 8 am.

If an item is listed as available in the catalog but you can’t find it on the shelf, go to a circulation desk for help.

Click on the item title and select REQUEST in the 'Find in Library' section of the record.

At the prompt, log in to your library account.

When the item is ready for pick up you will be notified via email.

You can also request items or borrow from other libraries directly.

Call numbers with XX are not yet ready to be checked out.

Bring the item information and ask for help at a circulation desk.

If an item is not available at the library, try checking other libraries in the area.

Items can also be requested through Interlibrary Loan.

Sign in to your library account. Select the item you want and click the Request link located under the 'Find in Library' section of the record.
