In response to the rise in research misconduct, the National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) require ethics training for undergraduate students, graduate students, and post-doctoral researchers supported on an NSF or selected NIH grants.  Carnegie Mellon’s Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) seminar series was developed to meet these requirements.
