The Libraries have reopened the stacks for browsing and self-retrieval of items on floors 1 –3 of Hunt Library. The fourth floor will remain closed until the completion of the current construction project.
Sorrells Library is open for browsing and self-retrieval of items.
Mellon affiliates who already have clearance to enter the Institute are able to browse and self-retrieve items at the Mellon Institute Library.
Though the stacks are open, the Libraries will continue to scan and pull books for users from all locations, by request, through the library catalog. It is no longer necessary to reserve a pickup time. Materials will be pulled and held for usersat the Hunt Library circulation desk for pick up during hours of operation. Sorrells Library has also been added as a pickup location.
Material returns are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the main Hunt and Sorrells Library book drops.
