• ALA Washington Office has posted the American Library Association Position on Fair Use Guidelines in a Digital Information Environment and other materials on current intellectual property issues .
• U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. An Interim Report to the Commissioner on the Conference on Fair Use. This interim report was made to Bruce Lehman, the Commissioner of the Patent and Trademark Office in December, 1996. In September 1997, a report entitled Report to the Commissioner on the Conclusion of the First Phase of the Conference on Fair Use was released. A Final Report of the Commissioner on the Conclusion of the Conference on Fair Use was released in November 1998.
