Reference at Carnegie MellonReference librarians will help you learn how to find information, wherever it may be located, using resources in the University Libraries. Librarians teach database searching concepts that are applicable to any online research, whether you are searching t he library catalog, a CD-ROM or the Internet.Besides helping with electronic research, librarians teach how to use printed materials and microforms in the reference collections. These collections include information that may not be available in electronic format. Librarians can also suggest overall strategies to assist library research.
Any currently-affiliated member of the Carnegie Mellon community is eligible to use the University Libraries' reference services.
