Do I have other options for interlibrary loan?

• E-ZBorrow is a good source for borrowing books only:
  
  
  • Log onto E-ZBorrow
  • Follow instructions to search and request books from participating Pennsylvania libraries.
  • Usually takes 3-5 days.
    
    
• Visit and use nearby libraries in the Oakland Library Consortium.
  
  
  • Find an item in a library catalog:
    
    • The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh
    • University of Pittsburgh Library System*
      *Some Pitt libraries are not OLC partners: Fine Arts, Law, Nursing, and Western Psych; Bradford, Greensburg, Johnstown, and Titusville.
      
      
  • To borrow materials, show Carnegie Mellon ID and the appropriate library card.

  • Find the item you need at an area library, such as:
    • Chatham College Library
    • Duquesne University Library
    • Robert Morris University Library
      
      
  • Stop at any Carnegie Mellon reference desk and get a signed PALINET borrowing authorization form.
  • To borrow materials, take the signed form and your Carnegie Mellon ID when you go to the library.
