Carnegie Mellon Libraries: University of Pittsburgh Library System

University of Pittsburgh Library System

PittCat contains bibliographic records for more than one million books, microforms, periodicals and sound recordings owned by libraries at the University of Pittsburgh. Periodical records show titles and volumes owned.

PittCat does not include most government documents, articles within periodicals, manuscripts and some other special library collections. Use the card catalog or consult a University of Pittsburgh reference librarian for assistance, as needed.

Carnegie Mellon is a partner with the University of Pittsburgh Library System in the Oakland Library Consortium (OLC). OLC arrangements facilitate direct borrowing as well as the delivery of materials among member libraries. Ask a librarian how you can borrow directly from University of Pittsburgh libraries, or see Oakland Library Consortium: Courier Service.
