The NTIS database is the preeminent, official resource for government sponsored U.S. and worldwide scientific, technical, engineering and business-related information.

The database includes summaries of research, development and engineering, and analyses prepared by federal agencies, contractors and grantees. It is also the means through which unclassified, publicly available research reports are made available for sale by agencies such as NASA, DOD and the EPA.
