Collections Online
lets
you access academic journals in many disciplines and from many publishers. If
Carnegie Mellon University Libraries own the journals, you may read and print
full-text articles online. If not, use the article citations to request articles
by interlibrary loan.
Features:
- The table
of contents of every available journal issue is always ready for you to
browse.
- Full-text
articles are available online if Carnegie Mellon libraries subscribe to
the journals.
-
Citations for
articles are provided if Carnegie Mellon libraries do not subscribe to the
journals.
-
New journal issues
are available quickly, sometimes before the printed issues are published.
You
can search for articles and citations several ways:
- Search by
subject, author, title, etc.
- Search all
journals or just those that we subscribe to
- Search journals
in a particular topic (such as science) or subtopic (chemistry)
- Search for
articles a particular journal
You
can also browse through lists of journals and journal articles:
- View journal
issues' tables of contents
- Browse by
author or title
- See what journals
the libraries subscribe to
- See information
about a journal
