- Anywhere on the right side of the Local Disk window, right-click your mouse and choose New and then choose folder. That will create a folder called New Folder.
- Click "New Folder" and choose Rename. Now the "New Folder" is highlighted. Type Scifinder. Now you have renamed the "New Folder" to "Scifinder."

- Click Next and it will start to install the software.
- When it asks “Do you have a disk labeled custom site files”, click No and go to next.
- It will take few minutes and prompt you “Do you want to install Scifinder Scholar toolbar now”, click yes and follow the defaults until you see it is successfully installed.
