Index to Current Urban Documents

The Index to Current Urban Documents (ICUD) is a guide to the reports and research that are generated by local government agencies, civic organizations, academic and research organizations, public libraries, and metropolitan and regional planning agencies in approximately 500 selected cities in the United States and Canada. The database indexes over 2,400 documents a year.

The University Libraries subscribe to the Index only. Check Cameo to determine if Hunt Library has a copy of Pennsylvania state or local documents. If not, documents can be acquired through interlibrary loan or purchased online.

The Web site provides access to the current year of information. Backfiles will become available within the next year. Hunt Library (first floor reference) holds the print index for the years 1975 - 1999.
