Historical Annual Reports is a new and unique database from ProQuest that contains, in searchable .pdf format, the actual printed annual reports for 800 companies, with coverage ranging from 1844 to the present. These reports contain much more than financial data. They also present narrative and pictorial snapshots of companies through time.  Historical Annual Reports is an excellent source for research on companies, industries, American history, graphic design, advertising, and corporate architecture.  Historical Annual Reports may be searched by itself, or in conjunction with ProQuest's other historical databases (Historical New York Times and Historical Wall Street Journal).
