• National Bureau of Economic Research, Inc. (NBER)
  NBER researchers concentrate on four types of empirical research: developing new statistical measurements, estimating quantitative models of economic behavior, assessing the effects of public policies on the U.S. economy, and projecting the effects of alternative policy proposals. Some working papers are freely available here; others only by subscription.

• WoPEc: Electronic Papers in Economics
  WoPEc is a service for finding and downloading the latest research results in economics. It contains over 22,000 papers. WoPEc uses the "Research Papers in Economics" (RePEc) dataset of economics publications. RePEc is a collection of archives that supply information about economics working papers, journal publications and software. WoPEc is limited to downloadable (but not necessarily free) documents. WoPEc has a sister project called BibEc that is limited to printed documents. You can search the data from both projects at once.
