This will help guide you to working papers and technical reports in the Social Sciences. Most sites make their documents freely available in full-text. The computer science link provides access to computer-related technical reports at Carnegie Mellon and elsewhere.
Carnegie Mellon University Libraries is leading an effort to digitize technical reports written by Carnegie Mellon members. A limited number of full-text technical reports are now available through links in the CAMEO records.
- National Bureau of Economic Research, Inc. (NBER)
NBER researchers concentrate on four types of empirical research: developing new statistical measurements, estimating quantitative models of economic behavior, assessing the effects of public policies on the U.S. economy, and projecting the effects of alternative policy proposals. Some working papers are freely available here; others only by subscription.

RePEc is a collection of archives that supply information about economics working papers, journal publications and software. WoPEc is limited to downloadable (but not necessarily free) documents. WoPEc has a sister project called BibEc that is limited to printed documents. You can search the data from both projects at once.
