• Allegheny Institute for Public Policy
  This Pittsburgh-area organization is a non-partisan research and educational institute whose mission is to formulate and promote conservative public policies at the local government level based on the principles of free enterprise; limited and accountable government; individual freedom and responsibility; and a reverence for traditional values.

• American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research
  AEI is dedicated to preserving and strengthening the foundations of freedom, namely, limited government, private enterprise, vital cultural and political institutions, and a strong foreign policy and national defense. AEI research covers economics and trade; social welfare; government tax, spending, regulatory, and legal policies; U.S. politics; international affairs; and U.S. defense and foreign policies.

• The Brookings Institution
  Brookings is a private, independent, nonprofit research organization that studies the performance of American institutions, the effectiveness of government programs, and the quality of U.S. public policies.

• Carnegie Endowment for International Peace
  Researchers study international issues including worldwide migration, nuclear non-proliferation, regional conflicts, multilateralism, democracy-building, and the use of force.   This organization is a research and educational institute whose mission is to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.

• Institute for Women's Policy Research
  IWPR is an independent, non-profit, scientific research organization established to rectify the limited availability of policy relevant research on women's lives and to inform and stimulate debate on issues of critical importance for women.

• The Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies
  The goals of this organization are to inform and illuminate the nation's major public policy debates through research, analysis, and information dissemination in order to: improve the socioeconomic status of black Americans; expand their effective participation in the political and public policy arenas; and promote communications and relationships across racial and ethnic lines to strengthen the nation's pluralistic society.
