Leadership Directories
This database includes the Nonprofit Sector Yellow Book. These directories
are a "who's who" of people at various government levels as well as associations,
media, etc. Contact information is provided for individuals and agencies.

Community
of Science (Carnegie Mellon users only)
Community of Science is a global registry designed to provide accurate,
timely, easy-to-access information about what new funding opportunities
exist, and who is working on what subject, and where. "Science" in this
context is defined along the lines of the Latin word "scientia," meaning
"knowledge."
Web of
Science (Carnegie Mellon users only)

Web of Science is a multidisciplinary database, with searchable author abstracts,
covering the literature of the sciences, social sciences and the arts & humanities. Users may choose to search across all the databases, or select
just one. This unique database indexes and links cited references for each
article. All formats provide complete bibliographic data and additional
features, such as cited reference searching, links to related articles,
plus author and publisher addresses.
Idealist
Links are provided to thousands of nonprofit organizations around the world.
The Foundation
Center (New York City)
The mission of the Foundation Center is to foster public understanding of
the foundation field by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating
information on foundations, corporate giving, and related subjects. The
online library includes links to nonprofit resources, a foundation finder,
an orientation to fundseeking tutorial, and more.
The Foundation
Center (Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - CLP)
The Foundation Center print and electronic resources are accessible whenever
the Main Library is open. Make an appointment (622-1917) if you will need
assistance as the Center is not staffed at all hours. The web site has additional
information.

FC Search
Over 60,000 U.S. foundation and corporate givers, with descriptions of
over 250,000 associated grants.
GrantSelect
More than 10,000 grants available from public & private sources for nonprofits
and individuals in U.S. and Canada; special focus on sponsored research
opportunities.
FD Online
Over 60,000 US foundations, corporate givers, and grantmaking public charities
with descriptions of ~150,000 more recent grants.
Directory of Pennsylvania Foundations
Profiles of Pennsylvania foundations, including grants list.
Prospector's Choice
Approximately 10,000 profiles of the top private and corporate foundations
and corporate direct giving programs, with about 76,000 recent grants
listed. Comprehensive biographical information.
