Having problems
connecting to the Carnegie Mellon library catalog using EndNote?
You need to change
the server address in the EndNote connection file:
- Pull down "Edit"
menu
- Select "Connection
files"
- Select "Open
connection manager"
- Select "Carnegie
Mellon U"
- Select "Connection
settings" from menu on left
- Change server
address to 128.2.12.111
- Close the window
and save the change
- Exit from Endnote
and then login again
- Pull down "Tools"
menu
- Connect to Carnegie
Mellon
Instructions for ProCite:
- Open ProCite program
- Pull Down "Tools" menu
- Select "Internet Search"
- Hosts
- Carnegie Mellon University--Library Catalogs
- Configure Hosts
- Properties. The properties should read:
- Host Name: Carnegie Mellon University
- Domain Name or IP address: unicorn.library.cmu.edu
- Port Number: 2200
- Library type: academic
- Location: USA; Pennsylvania
- URL: http://cameo.library.cmu.edu/
