- AccessScience (Carnegie Mellon Users only)
Online and fully searchable collection of science reference materials. Includes the McGraw Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology, research updates from the McGraw-Hill Yearbooks, thousands of illustrations, and the latest Science News® headlines, biographies, and more.
- CorpTech (Carnegie Mellon users only)
Directory of high tech companies that can be searched in a variety of ways.The individual records for more than 50,000 companies include contact information, key personnel, products, annual sales, number of employees, ownership, and type of company. The companies are public and private, primarily U.S. companies, but also include the business units of international companies that operate in the U.S.
- CQ Library (Carnegie Mellon users only)
Source of nonpartisan news and analysis of public affairs. It provides full-text web access to two of Congressional Quarterly's premiere publications, the CQ Weekly and the CQ Researcher Plus Archive.- CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics (Carnegie Mellon users only)
Authoritative source of chemical and physical data including molecular structures, conversion tables, constants, formulas, equations, etc.
- Community of Science (Carnegie Mellon users only)
A global registry designed to provide accurate, timely, easy-to-access information aboutabout researchers' profiles and new funding opportunities.- Credo Reference (Carnegie Mellon users only)
Online collection of encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauri and books of quotations, with a range of subject-specific titles including, among others:

1940-present.
Essential facts of the news as reported in the major newspapers and news magazines of the U.S., Canada, Britain, Australia, and elsewhere in the world. Includes thousands of in-depth features, images, charts, and primary documents.
- International Financial Statistics (Carnegie Mellon users only)
ca. 1945-present.
Approximately 32,000 time series covering more than 200 countries and areas.
- Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology (Carnegie Mellon users only)
Facts on the properties, manufacturing, and uses of chemicals and materials, processes, and engineering principles, coupled with insights into current research, emerging technologies and economic aspects. Environmental and health concerns are also addressed.
- Oxford Reference Online (Carnegie Mellon users only)
