Digital Image Database |
| The Digital Image Database is a growing collection of approximately 5,000 digital images with a primary focus on, but not limited to, art and architecture. Access to the database is restricted to Carnegie Mellon University faculty, staff and students. The use of the images is restricted to Carnegie Mellon University classroom presentations and lectures only. |

Slides Collection |
| The Slides Collection consists of approximately 120,000 slides with a primary focus on, but not limited to, art and architecture. Slides may be borrowed by anyone presenting a current/valid Carnegie Mellon University photo ID. The use of slides is restricted to Carnegie Mellon University classroom presentations and lectures only. |

Other Digital Image Collections |

ARTstor
A digital image library with hundreds of thousands of images pertaining to art, architecture and archeology. ARTstor software enables active use of the collections, including the ability to save groups of images online for personal and classroom use. Use of the database is restricted to Carnegie Mellon University faculty, staff and students.
AP Photo Archive
A digital image database containing regional, state, national and international news photographs with descriptive captions and identifying information. The database also includes a selection of historical images added on a weekly basis. Use of the database is restricted to Carnegie Mellon University faculty, staff and students.
