*CAMEO Search Tips*

If you are looking for a specific piece of music to study, here are a few search tips to keep in mind:

• A Complex Search should be used by clicking on the tab at the main CAMEO window. This search will allow you to limit by BOOK, SCORE, RECORDING, CD, etc.
• It is best to search by the composer "and" the title (e.g. - stravinsky and octet)
• Due to multiple variations in titles, truncation is recommended (e.g. - symphon$ - will retreive symphony, symphonie, symphonies, etc.)
• If you are not sure how something is spelled, the "?" can substitute for letters (e.g. - mi?ro?osmos)

  Browsing what the library owns in specific genres can be helpful too. On the Simple

  Search page in CAMEO type one of the following words and click the word Subject . . .

Renshaw, Jeffrey H. The American Wind Symphony Commissioning Project: a Descriptive Catalog of Published Editions. The American Waterways Wind Orchestra headed by Robert Boudreau commissioned and premiered over 350 new works over the course of 34 years.
