Historic American Buildings Survey /
Historic American Engineering RecordThe Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) and the Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) are federal programs to record historic American architecture and engineering sites. HABS/HAER records can be accessed in a number of ways, as listed below.

- Carnegie Mellon University Architecture Archives: Collections Database
The Architecture Archives includes blueprints of measured drawings for selected HABS sites. To find these, search "habs" in the record group field.
- Library of Congress: Prints and Photographs Division
The bulk of the original HABS/HAER documentation is held by the Library of Congress. Contact the Prints and Phototgraphs Division for reproductions or for more information.
