• Use the Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals to search for articles in architecture periodicals. Use other periodical indexes/databases to search periodicals in fields such as psychology, sociology, and so forth (see below).

• Environmental Design Research Association [proceedings]. Various titles and publishers. (Annual)

  Each conference of the Environmental Design Research Association covers a number of important current issues in architectural research.

• Proquest Direct (Carnegie Mellon users only)
  These general purpose databases are useful for researching topics in a wide variety of fields including psychology, sociology, and other social sciences. Include many full-text articles.

• PsychINFO (Carnegie Mellon users only)

  The PsycINFO database covers psychology and related fields, including environmental psychology, and describes periodical articles, book chapters, books, technical reports, and dissertations. PsycINFO indexes titles including the Environmental Design Research Association Proceedings, and the primary journals in the field of Environmental Psychology: Environment and Behavior, Journal of Architectural and Planning Research, and Journal of Environmental Psychology.
