Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)
Airline passengers will fly into Philadelphia International Airport. The Airport is located 8 miles from the conference hotel. Travel time to Center City Philadelphia via taxi/shuttle/car is 20–30 minutes.

Ground Transportation - Getting To and From PHL
SEPTA/R1 Regional Rail runs from the Airport to Center City. The fare from the Airport to the Market East station, which is a couple of blocks from the hotel, is $5.50. See schedule at <http://www.septa.com/service/sched/pdfs/R1Airport.pdf>. The Lady Liberty Airport Shuttle is $8.00 per person one way. You can make your reservation in advance or upon arrival. The shuttle is located outside of the baggage claim area. To make a reservation call 215-724-8888. Taxi service is $25.00 (flat rate) plus a $1.50 fee and is also located outside of the baggage claim area.

AMTRAK
AMTRAK provides useful service in the Northeast corridor and beyond. Trains to Phildadelphia arrive at 30th Street Station. A taxi from the train station to the hotel is $13.00-$15.00.  There are also many rail alternatives from the train station to the Market East stop, which is a couple of blocks from the hotel.

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA)
SEPTA provides rail, light-rail, subway, trolley, and bus service in the Greater Philadelphia area. The cash base fare is $2.00.

The Loews Philadelphia Hotel is the conference hotel for the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) Annual Meeting. It will be the location for some AASL meeting sessions. The deadline for making hotel reservations at the ACSA conference rate is February 5, 2007. After this date rates and reservations will be based upon availability. Conference room rates are $175 for a single room and $200 for a double, plus 14% tax. When making your reservations by phone, mention ACSA for the conference rates. Reservations can be cancelled 24 hours in advance by 6 pm. There is valet parking at $32 per day with in and out privileges.
