Tartan/Focus
Database
The Tartan has been Carnegie Mellon's student newspaper since
1906. A current project is cataloging issues of both The Tartan
and Focus to provide an online searchable database.
Mind
Models
Professors Herbert Simon and Allen Newell worked together to create
"a thinking machine." This on-line exhibit examines their
work in artificial intelligence using digitized items from their papers,
photographs and videoclips.
