About the Oakland Library Consortium

Members of the Carnegie Mellon community can use and borrow directly from most University of Pittsburgh libraries* and from The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, because we participate in the Oakland Library Consortium (OLC).

You must have a library card in order to borrow items:

*Some Pitt libraries do not participate in OLC: Fine Arts, Law, Nursing, Western Psych, and branch libraries in Bradford, Greensburg, Johnstown, and Titusville.

To borrow items from nonparticipating libraries, request interlibrary loan.
