Carnegie Mellon Libraries: Libraries and Collections: Traveling Library

"Traveling Library" visits Baker Hall

On the afternoon of October 12 the University Libraries had an additional campus location: Baker Hall. This "traveling library," coordinated by the Library Instruction Committee, provided students with the chance to check out CDs, DVDs, books, and other materials. Many students learned about interlibrary loan, databases, and many other services. And everyone enjoyed the Dewey Decimal Cookies!

Congratulations to Anthony Monda, winner of our Baker Hall iPod raffle. Anthony is a Freshman in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (Undecided). To enter the raffle, students had to visit four locations in Hunt Library and, as evidence, get their "passport" stamped.
