  Principal Investigator -- Oversee the development of the Web site infrastructure and authoring, indexing, and analysis tools, production of digital tutorials and digitization of objects (including photographs, videos, and dinosaur drawings) for both the museum and library SWE. Design the tool set. Direct reflectometry research in digital imaging that preserves the appearance of the original object; develop simple heuristics to predict the appearance of an object under different lighting conditions and from different angles of view. Assist with the development of the SWE end user interface and the design of the underlying database. Coordinate the digitization of video, selected archival materials and the production of video tutorials.
