Acquisitions Department

The Acquisitions Department is responsible for ordering and receiving books, journals, and other materials for the University Libraries. The department works with selectors to manage approval plans and library materials funds. Acquisitions subscribes to and licenses databases and other electronic resources for the libraries' collections. The department also receives Carnegie Mellon theses and dissertations, and receives and processes gift materials. Acquisitions is located in Hunt Library.
